Schedule Your ReadiRide Today!

JTA's ReadiRide is an on-demand service providing affordable transportation to customers in 14 Jacksonville communities. This service puts you, the customer, in control of when and where you want to be picked up and dropped off.

How ReadiRide Works

Contact a ReadiRide reservationist at (904) 679-4555 at least two hours in advance to request an arrival time to your destination to schedule a pick-up. Use the map below to see if you are in a zone.

Service Operation

Reservations can be made Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Curb-to-curb service must be in the same designated zone. For example, if you are picked up within the Beaches zone, you must be dropped off within the Beaches zone.

Reservations

There is a new feature coming soon for you submit a reservation. You may always call the reservation line, but soon you will be able to submit your reservation online through online booking. This feature will send you a reservation confirmation via email. We are very excited to provide another option to you.

Door-To-Store

The City of Jacksonville and JTA collaborated in a partnership called Door-to-Store. This service provides free rides to grocery stores. This service is available within JTA's Northside ReadiRide Zone, including the New Town neighborhood. Learn more about this really great program.

Travel Tips

Here are a few tips to prepare for your ReadiRide.

  • Cash & Mobile Payments

    ReadiRide only accepts cash and mobile payments using the MyJTA app. STARCards are not accepted for payment.

  • Exact Change

    Exact change is required — drivers will not issue change.

  • Be Ready

    Ensure that you are at your location at the correct pick-up time.

  • Cancellation

    If you schedule a trip and are unable to take it, call the ReadiRide reservationist at (904) 679-4555 to cancel the reservation as soon as possible.
