Purpose

The Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) announces that the Board of Directors will meet on Thursday, September 19, 2024 on the third floor of JTA’s Administrative Building, JRTC located at 100 LaVilla Center Drive, Jacksonville, Florida 32204 as follows:

 

1:00 Work Session

2:00 Board Meeting with Shade Meeting

 

The Board Meeting will include a Public Hearing under the Safety, Audit and Compliance Committee, which is:

Proposed changes to Rule 000 – JTA Bylaws

 

As part of the Board Meeting, JTA will be conducting a special closed session pursuant to Section 286.011(8), Florida Statutes, to discuss pending litigation, RE: Kings Avenue Redevelopment at approximately 3:15 p.m., or as soon as the other agenda matters are handled. The following persons will be in attendance: Ari Jolly, Debbie Buckland, Aundre Wallace, Pat Sams, Megan Hayward, Nathaniel Ford and Richard Milian.  

 

A virtual link for September 19, 2024 will be posted to the JTA website with instructions by 5:00 pm on September 16, 2024.

 

In accordance with Section 286.0105, F.S., any person wishing to appeal a decision reached at these meetings will need a record of the proceedings.  He/she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
