Update for April 2, 2026 - New Fares

The new fare structure adopted for Connexion Plus began on April 2, 2026 for the remainder of the fiscal year and will be $10 for the first 12 miles and $2.50 per mile thereafter without limit to the number of monthly trips.

JTA offers an additional option to our Connexion customers – Connexion Plus.

Connexion Plus is perfect for eligible customers who want private, same-day, door-to-door service to anywhere in Duval County.

How it Works

Any certified Connexion customer is eligible.

  • Call Connexion Plus to schedule your reservation: (904) 404-0848

  • Supply the following information:

    • Name

    • Date and time of pick-up

    • Pick-up and drop-off addresses

    • Number of passengers

    • Any accommodations needed, such as a wheelchair lift

  • Call at least two hours in advance of your requested pick-up time

  • Look for the “Connexion Plus” sign in the front window of the vehicle

Connexion Uber Opt-in Program

We are happy to announce the new JTA Connexion Uber Opt-in Program began April 2nd, 2026. This is a Curb-to-Curb option for Connexion customers with no advanced booking required.

  • Fare – $3.50 per trip ($1 more than TD)

  • Voucher Discount – Up to $20.00 per trip

The voucher is good for up to 10 trips per week and will be issued every Monday at 12:00 am. Trips will not accumulate and must be used within the week issued. Customer is responsible for costs over $20.

Download the Uber app on your mobile device to take advantage of this new service. The voucher will be stored in your Uber account wallet and fare will be paid directly to Uber.

Trips must be within Duval County, during Connexion hours (5:00 am - 12:00 am), and are only for eligible Connexion clients who have opted in. Fraudulent use will result in removal from the program.

During the first month of the program, wheelchair accessible vehicle (WAV) clients can reserve trips by connecting through the Uber app or calling reservations at 904-265-6999.

Monday through Friday: 5:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Weekends: 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Holidays: The Reservation Office is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Service is available on holidays, but please make reservations in advance of these holidays.

Holiday Service Hours

On New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Veterans Day, Christmas Day and Thanksgiving, service hours are 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
