JACKSONVILLE, Aug. 7– Need a lift to the big game this season? The Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) has you covered with the Gameday Xpress, brought to you by Whataburger.
Once again, the JTA is providing fast and reliable Gameday Xpress shuttles to and from five Jacksonville locations to get you to TIAA Bank Field for NFL and college football games.
Service begins Aug. 15 when the Jaguars play the Philadelphia Eagles in week 2 of the NFL preseason. In addition to Jaguars home games, the Gameday Xpress will serve fans attending the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl, the annual Florida-Georgia game and when the Florida State Seminoles take on the Boise State Broncos on Saturday, Aug. 31.
*The Beaches Lot and Armsdale Lot are not available during Jaguar preseason games
Discounts are available through the free MyJTA app, for Android and iOS smart mobile devices.
Customers using the Downtown Lots – either the Convention Center Lot located near the Prime F. Osborn III Convention Center or the Kings Avenue Parking Garage at 1201 Kings Ave. – can purchase season passes through the MyJTA app for $55 ($60 without the app), or $8 for single game passes ($9 without the app).
Discounts also are available for fans parking at one of three Suburban Lots.
Those include the Southside Lot at the corner of Philips Highway and J. Turner Butler Boulevard; the Armsdale Park-n-Ride at 3191 Armsdale Road and the Beaches Lot located near Wingate Park along Penman Road South in Jacksonville Beach.
Fans can purchase season passes for Suburban Lots through the MyJTA app for $90, ($100 without the app), or single game passes for $13, ($14 without the app).
Tickets also can be purchased online at www.jtafla.com, at lots on game days, at JTA offices, and at the Rosa Parks Transit Station during normal business hours.
Gameday Xpress operates two hours before kickoff and one hour after games end. Continuous service from the Convention Center Lot is available during games. While all Gameday Xpress shuttles are wheelchair accessible, individuals with disabilities are encouraged to use the Convention Center Lot where JTA paratransit vehicles will be stationed.
