JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (March 1, 2019) –Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) has announced a new service called Clay Community Transportation (CCT) to provide convenient and easy transportation options for Clay County. CCT will begin servicing routes Monday, March 4. Riders will be able to access route services Monday through Friday.
“We are excited to be able to offer new transportation services throughout Clay County,” said JTA CEO Nathaniel P. Ford Sr. “The new routes provide riders with affordable transportation opportunities and convenient access to a number of key destinations.”
Featuring Red and Blue lines that will take riders to popular Clay locations such as Orange Park Mall, St. Johns River State College and Orange Park Medical Center, CCT is an affordable option for residents and visitors. Standard fares are $1.00 while reduced $0.50 fares are available for children (age 6 and under), senior passengers (age 60 and older) and passengers with disabilities. For a $1.00 fee, the CTC will provide a flex service option, where the bus will deviate for passenger pick-ups if schedule permits.

The Jacksonville Transportation Authority became the Community Transportation Coordinator for Clay County on January 1, 2019. Since taking on coordination, JTA has begun to provide paratransit services for Transportation Disadvantaged (TD) community members. JTA also operates the Clay Regional Express. Clay Community Transportation is the latest expansion of JTA’s services across the county.
