JACKSONVILLE – Refunds for Gameday Xpress tickets will begin Thursday for fans who purchased their tickets through the MyJTA app.
The Florida State – Boise State college football game has been relocated from Jacksonville to Tallahassee as the area braces for potential impacts from Hurricane Dorian.
The Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) therefore will no longer run the Gameday Xpress as scheduled.
Fans who’ve purchased tickets ahead of time with the MyJTA app will automatically be refunded through the app. While those refunds are being processed starting today, due to the holiday weekend, customers can expect to see those funds returned on or before Tuesday, Sept. 3.
Customers who’ve purchased paper tickets may return them to JTA offices (listed below).
The Gameday Xpress will return for the Jacksonville Jaguars season opener against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, Sept. 8.
The JTA is prepared and coordinating with the City of Jacksonville’s Emergency Operations Center to assist customers in the event Hurricane Dorian impacts our area.
The safety and security of customers and our staff is our number one priority.
The JTA will notify customers about the status of transit operations, emergency services and other activities through our social media channels and through traditional media partners as needed.
These operations are subject to change as weather conditions either deteriorate or improve.
