Purpose

The Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) announces that on Thursday, December 14, 2023, a Board Work Session will be held at 1:30 pm with the regular Board Meeting to follow at 3:00 pm. 

The work session and meeting will be held in the Board Room at the Jacksonville Regional Transportation Center at 100 LaVilla Center Drive, Third Floor. There will be a virtual option to attend, as well as a call-in number. As is required, there will be an option for public comment at the work session and meeting. Information and call-in instructions will be posted on the JTA website, www.jtafla.com at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, December 12, 2023.

Public Comment Requests

  • Advanced registration is requested
  • Attendee meeting link will open at 1:20 p.m. 
  • The work session will begin at 1:30 p.m., followed by the meeting at 3:00 p.m.
  • There will be a Public Comment Section
    • If you wish to speak, please submit your request by phone or email:
    • Requests to speak need to be submitted before 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 14. 
  • The Public Comment section of the agenda will be opened by the Board Chair. Each person that requested to speak will be called upon in alphabetical order.
    • Comments are limited to three minutes
    • After all requested speakers have been heard, the public comment section will close and the Board will continue with the agenda. 

In accordance with Section 286.0105, F.S., any person wishing to appeal a decision reached at this meeting will need a record of the proceedings. He / she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
